Bulgarian-Chinese Commission for Economic Cooperation to Meet in Beijing June 26

Sofia - The Bulgarian-Chinese mixed commission for economic,
scientific and technical cooperation will hold its 13th session
in Beijing on June 26. The Bulgarian delegation will be headed
by Deputy Economy and Energy Minister Anna Yaneva, said Yaneva's Ministry Friday.

The two sides are expected to sign an additional protocol to a
bilateral agreement on investment promotion and protection,
whereby Bulgaria will observe its obligation of a new EU member
to transpose the acquis.

In Beijing, the Bulgarian Deputy Economy Minister is scheduled
to have meetings with the Chinese Minister for Trade, the Deputy
Minister of Communications and the Mayor of Shanghai.

The Bulgarian delegation to Beijing includes representatives of
the food industry, metallurgy and the chemical industry,
electrical engineering and electronics, telecommunications,
construction, the energy sector, tourism and real estate
business.
