A Chinese government delegation of 9 people led by Mr FU Zhiying, assistant Minister of Commerce of China, visited Bulgaria during 1-4 April, 2007, and met H.E. Rumen Ovcharov, Minister of Economy and Energy of Bulgaria, and held talks with H.E. Anna Yaneva, Deputy Minister of Econmy and Energy, and met H.E. Feim Yusseinov Chaoushev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. The two sides exchanged views on the promotion of the bilateral economic and trade cooperation, and of the investment, and on the issues of the mutual concerned.

A business delegation of 18 people from 13 Chinese enterprises accompanied the government delegation. A Chinese-Bulgarian Business Forum was held in Kempinski Hotel, Sofia on 10:00 --14:00 of 2 April, 2007.  About 80 Bulgarian businessmen participated in the Forum. The Chinese assistant Minister of Commerce FU Zhiying,  H.E. Anna Yaneva, Deputy Minister of Econmy and Energy addressed speeches at the opening of the Forum. After the opening, the two side's businessmen held business talks.
