In bilateral trade between China and Bulgaria, Bulgarian side bears deficit. At the point of view of some Chinese companies, Bulgarian industrial capacity is in short, and is short of key export products, and also their prices are not competitive for Chinese markets.
Anyway, Bulgaria does have some traditional products with comparative advantage,such as rose oil and its products, yoghourt, white and yellow cheeses and other milk products, and wines, but not many Chinese people know about Bulgaria and her products. What Bulgaria needs to do is to do more promotions for her exports to the vast Chinese market to balance her trade with China. |
