A Bulgarian Government delegation of 5 people led by Deputy Minister Lachezar Borisov has attended the Investment and Trade Fair held on Sept.8, 2006 at Xiamen, China. The Executive Director, Mr Stoyan Stalev, of the InvestBulgaria Agency, and Mr Lyubomir Dimitrov, new Economic and Commercial Counsellor of Bulgaria in China were the members.
This is the first time for Bulgarian Government delegation to attend Xiamen Investment and Trade Fair. The Bulgarian Government delegation left Sofia on Sept.5, and come back on Sept.12 from China. The Economic and Commercial Counsellor, Mr Lu Yongming, and the first secrectary, Mr Xiao Guangqing, came to the airport to see them off upon their leaving, and to meet them on their return.
The Bulgarian Government delegation is to attract Chinese investment. Chinese side provides favourable conditions and preferential treatments for Bulgarian Government Delegation for their stay at Xiamen. Ms Ma Hsuhong, the Deputy Minister of Commerce of China, and Deputy Governor, Mr Su, of Fujian Province held an offical meeting respectively with the Bulgarian Deputy Minister Lachezar Borisov and his delegates.
The Investment and Trade Fair is held on Sept.8 each year at Xiamen, a very beautiful city in Fujian Province in southern China.The Fair is a two-way one, in which there is a oversees pavilion. Foreign participants can also do their efforts to attract Chinese investment to their own countries.
Xiamen is a special economic zone in Fujian Province, southern China, where the ecomony has been developing very fast.
And Xiamen, also called Amoy, a beautiful island, and nice coastal city with mild climate and beautiful scenery. Tourists will find it a really suitable resort.
